Job Summary
CWA Group is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join our team. In this role, you will lead and support the planning and design of outdoor spaces for educational, civic, and institutional projects. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to develop functional and engaging environments that respond to user needs, site context, and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop site and landscape designs, including layout, planting, grading, drainage, hardscape, and outdoor learning environments.
- Prepare conceptual renderings, design development documents, and construction drawings.
- Conduct site visits, assessments, and field investigations.
- Coordinate with internal architecture and interior design teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Review zoning regulations, ADA compliance, and environmental guidelines relevant to site planning.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and public forums as needed.
- Assist with preparing specifications, cost estimates, and bid packages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- Professional licensure (or actively pursuing) preferred.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience, ideally in institutional or public sector design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of planting design, site grading, and sustainable strategies.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oklahoma-based or regional codes and climate-responsive design.
- Familiarity with LEED or SITES certification processes.
- Knowledge of 3D rendering tools such as Lumion or Enscape is a plus.
